ErecPower Testing And Quality: What Each Seal Means
The ErecPower label and sales page carry ten seals and six smaller marks. None of them is FDA approval, because no dietary supplement is FDA approved. This page takes each one in turn and says what it certifies, and then says plainly what this desk does not claim: nobody here has tested this product.
A page of badges with no explanation is decoration. A page of badges with an explanation is a checklist, and two of these come out of it badly.
Every ErecPower seal, and what it actually certifies
The six smaller ErecPower marks
The manufacturer also ships a set of small monochrome marks. They repeat four of the statements above and add one new one, about the bottle rather than the capsule. They are reproduced here in full so that nothing in the asset pack goes unexplained.
ErecPower is not FDA approved, and neither is anything else in this aisle
This is the seal most likely to be misread, so it gets its own section. An FDA-registered facility is a facility that has told the FDA it exists, which food facilities are required to do. It is a registration, not an inspection result, not an endorsement and not an approval.
The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they go on sale. There is no premarket review of a formula, no approval number, and no agency sign-off for anything on this label. That is how the category is regulated and it applies to every product on the shelf, not just this one. The FDA says so itself, in as many words, and its page on the category is the primary source for what the agency actually does. NCCIH's page on using supplements wisely explains what that means for a buyer, the ODS consumer factsheet covers how to read the panel, and the National Institute on Aging has the version written for people over fifty, which is this desk’s typical buyer.
The practical consequence is that the seals above describe process and sourcing rather than content. None of them tells you how much hawthorn is in a capsule, because nothing tells you that.
What this desk does not claim about ErecPower
We do not claim
- That anybody here has tested this product. Nobody has.
- That a certificate of analysis reference is a laboratory report. It is a pointer.
- That any seal on this label is FDA approval. None is.
- That the finished capsule has been trialled. It has not.
- That a named clinician has reviewed these pages. None has, and we will not invent one.
We do claim
- That the lot is ERE-26/ER-5284 and we will match it to your order by telephone.
- That every figure on this website came off the label, the artwork or the pack.
- That every citation was checked against its record before it was written down.
- That where a figure is not published, this website prints that rather than an estimate.
- That corrections are made on the page and the review date moves forward.
Why no doctor’s name appears on these ErecPower pages
A named medical reviewer is the most abused signal in this category. The name is frequently a stock photograph, the credential unverifiable and the review imaginary, and a reader has no way to tell a real one from an invented one. Which means the signal is worth nothing even when it is honest.
So these pages carry a named editorial desk with a method you can audit instead: the label is the source, undisclosed figures are printed as undisclosed, sources are real and linked in the sentence, and corrections move the review date. That is four claims a sceptical reader can check in ten minutes, which is the only reason to make them. The about page sets the method out in full.
If a clinician with real credentials ever reviews these pages, they will be named, their credential stated, and what they reviewed and when. Until then, nobody.
Three things that would make the ErecPower quality section shorter
It is easy to list what is missing. It is more useful to say what would satisfy us, because that is a checkable commitment rather than a complaint.
- ■A published certificate of analysis for lot ERE-26/ER-5284. Not a reference number: the document, with identity, potency and contaminant testing and a laboratory name on it.
- ■A Supplement Facts panel with amounts on it. Six numbers would remove the single largest caveat on this entire website.
- ■A named reviewer with a checkable credential. If a clinician genuinely reviews these pages, they get named here along with what they reviewed and when.
Any of the three would be published here in the week it arrived, with the review date moved forward and every affected page rewritten. None has been supplied so far, and this section stays until one is.
How the ErecPower seals were catalogued
Every mark on this page is one that ships in the manufacturer’s own asset pack or appears on the sales page. Each description says what the mark asserts and who asserts it. Two of them, the natural-ingredients seal and the doctor-formulated roundel, are described as weak, which is a judgement and is labelled as one.
